Dear Moneris merchants, please note that in connection with the new requirements of the Code of Conduct for the Payment Card Industry in Canada effective October 30, 2024, Moneris has updated its standard Merchant Agreement Terms and Conditions (posted on https://www.moneris.com/en/legal/terms-conditions). The change is to s.17.1 and it reduces the minimum notice period which each party is required to provide if it does not wish the merchant agreement to be automatically renewed from 90 to 45 days before the termination of the agreement.
