Terms and Conditions

Promotion Period

This offer is valid until July 31, 2025

Who Can Participate?

To qualify, you must:

• Be a new or existing Moneris merchant in Canada
• Have or sign up for a Moneris Merchant Agreement to process credit/debit card payments.
• Sign up for a new Moneris Online Complete or Advanced Plan or upgrade an existing Moneris Online Plan to a Complete or Advanced Plan
• Sign up for an eligible Moneris Total Commerce plan

Exceptions

You can’t participate if:

• You’re part of a franchisee, trade association or member associations or other buying groups
• You’ve processed more than $2,500,00 CAD in Visa and Mastercard transactions in the last three months.

Moneris Total Commerce – Monthly Plans

Promotional Pricing: Moneris Total Commerce Merchants who sign up for a Complete or Advanced Plan will be eligible for the promotional pricing outlined in the above chart for the first two months of their Complete or Advanced Plan. Regular pricing and fees will be applied after the two (2) month promotion period. Payment processing fees and all applicable fees still apply during the offer period.

Rebate Conditions: Merchants who process a minimum of $5,000 CAD in credit and debit transactions in the first two (2) months of signing up are eligible to receive a rebate valued at two (2) months of Moneris Online Fees. The rebate will be credited to your Merchant account 90 days after you sign up with Moneris. Merchants who cancel their Monthly Plan within sixty (60) days of signing up are not eligible for this rebate.

Moneris Total Commerce – Annual Plans

Promotional Pricing: Moneris Total Commerce Merchants who sign up for a Complete or Advanced Plan will be eligible for the promotional pricing outlined in the above chart for the first year of their plan. Regular pricing and fees will be applied after the first year. Payment processing fees and all applicable fees still apply during the offer period.

Changes and Restrictions

We reserve the right to change or end these offers anytime. These offers can't be combined with other Moneris offers or applied to past purchases. Th offer is limited to one per merchant.

Automatic Renewal and Cancellation

Your Moneris Total Commerce Plan will automatically renew at the end of the promotional period, and regular pricing will apply, unless you cancel within ten (10) days before the renewal date.

To cancel your Moneris Total Commerce Plan, call us at 1-866-271-9055 at least 10 days before the end of the promotional period.

Other Terms

Except as otherwise provided herein, Moneris, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, promotion agencies, agents, successors, assigns and service providers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the Offer, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. By participating in the Offer, the merchant waives any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to such matters in any forum beyond one (1) year after the first occurrence of the incident upon which the claim or action is based. The merchant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Offer, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

By participating in the Offer, the merchant agrees to release and hold harmless Moneris and each of its parents, subsidiary, affiliate and related companies, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim or cause of action of any kind arising or resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Offer or from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any item given in connection with the Offer.
