Getting started with Moneris Go Restaurant POS

Moneris Go Restaurant is the first restaurant solution built and supported by Moneris in-house. It is a quick service restaurant solution that acts as a one-stop-shop for restaurants to handle take-out orders, kiosk orders, online orders, and more.

Before getting started

Before diving into the setup, it is important to get a basic understanding of Moneris Go Restaurant.

Setting up Moneris Go Restaurant

Data setup.  Set up your restaurant in the Go Restaurant portal. This includes setting up employees, taxes, menu categories, menu items, kitchens, as well as food stocks, discounts, and petty cash. 

This step is the basis for all Go Restaurant operations. It is important to allow enough time to complete this as it may take several hours or longer depending on the size of your restaurant.

Applications.  Install and configure the Go Restaurant applications.  This includes the Go Restaurant app on your tablet. It also includes the optional Kitchen Display app which runs on a separate tablet located in your kitchen(s).

Payment terminal setup. Integrate your Moneris Go terminal with Go Restaurant to allow your customers to enter their payment cards and respond to payment prompts.

Hardware setup.  Set up the Go Restaurant hardware.  This covers the kitchen printer,  the receipt printer, and cash drawer, as well as assigning a kitchen printer to each kitchen.
