Activating a Loyalty Card allows the card to be used.
From the READY screen:
To navigate through the menus:
- Scroll down: press F1 to move the highlight
bar down.
- Scroll up: press F3 to
move the highlight
bar up.
- Select a highlighted
item: press OK.
1. Press the Admin
key.
The MAIN MENU appears.
2. Scroll down to ERNEX, and press OK.
The ERNEX menu appears.
3. Scroll down to ACTIVATE/LOAD, and press OK.
The SWIPE OR ENTER CARD prompt appears.
4. Swipe the Loyalty
Card on the terminal
OR Key in the Loyalty Card number, and press OK.
If the ENTER CLERK ID entry screen appears...
If the ENTER INVOICE NO entry screen appears...
If the ENTER AMOUNT entry screen appears...
If the ENTER INFO entry screen appears...
The PROCESSING message appears, and then the APPROVED ACTIVATE NEXT? prompt appears.
5. You can choose to immediately activate another card by pressing F1 (YES), or you can choose not to activate another card by pressing F3 (NO):

The Merchant copy of the receipt prints, and the "Approved" message appears. a. Retain this Merchant copy. b. Press OK. c. Give this copy to the cardholder. d. Press OK. e. Repeat the procedure beginning at step 4 ("Swipe the Loyalty Card..."). |
