The Moneris VX 820 Duet terminal does not have an ON/OFF switch.
The VX 820 Duet 2-part Power Cable
IMPORTANT: You must use the exact power adaptor and cable provided with the terminal by Moneris. Failure to do so may affect the operability of, or cause damage to, the terminal and/or base .
To power up (or turn on) the terminal:
1. Plug the power adaptor cable (1) into the power port

) on the side of the base.
2. Connect the power cable (2) to the other end of the power adaptor cable (3).
3. Plug the other end of the power cable (4) into a power source e.g. a wall jack or a power bar.
The terminal is ready when the applications menu appears.
