PAN Fraud Control

To reduce the fraudulent use of credit cards, this security feature prompts you to key in the last four digits of a credit card number after the card has been swiped. PAN Fraud Check then compares the keyed-in digits to the information con­tained in the card’s magnetic stripe or chip to confirm that the numbers are valid. If the numbers are invalid, the transaction cannot continue.

This feature is enabled on the Moneris host.
