Sign In and Out

Follow the instructions below to sign in and sign out of the Merchant Direct portal. 

Sign in to the portal

1. Launch your preferred web browser and go to login.moneris.com. 

2. At the Sign In page, enter your login credentials as follows:

   1. Click inside the Email field and enter your email address. 

   2. Click inside the Password field and enter your password. 

3. Click the Sign In button. 

If you forgot your password to sign in:

• Refer to the process flow described in the Reset Your Password topic. 

Sign out of the portal

1. In the top right corner of the screen, click on your user name. 
2. On the popup menu, click Logout. The Sign In screen reappears. 

Sign in with two-factor authentication

If you enabled two-factor authentication, you will see additional prompts during the sign in process. Follow the instructions below to sign in with two-factor authentication. 

1. Launch your preferred web browser and go to login.moneris.com. 

2. At the Sign in page, enter your login credentials as follows:

   1. Click inside the Email field and enter your email address. 

   2. Click inside the Password field and enter your password. 

3. Click the Sign In button. The Two-factor authentication popup appears. 

4. Do one of the following:

• If you are using an authentication app:

1. Launch the authenticator app on your mobile device, and look for the one labeled "Moneris". 

2. Note the 6-digit PIN that the app generates. 

3. In the Two-factor authentication popup, enter the 6-digit PIN retrieved from the app.

4. Enter the authentication code in the Enter code field.

5. Place a checkmark in the Remember this device checkbox, then click the Submit button. The Dashboard appears.

• If you are using email or SMS authentication:

1. In the Two-factor authentication popup, select your preferred method of receiving the authentication code (Email or SMS) and click Next.. The system will generate an email or text message respectively and send you a 6-digit authentication code. 
   

2. Enter the authentication code in the Enter code field. 

3. Place a checkmark in the Remember this device checkbox, then click the Submit button. The Dashboard appears.
