1. Follow the prompt that appears on the terminal:
If CUSTOMER PRESS OK TO CONTINUE appears, pass the terminal to the cardholder without pressing the OK. The cardholder presses OK.
If CONTINUE ON PINPAD appears, pass the external 7800 PINpad to the cardholder, who responds to the prompts.
2. When the PURCHASE $#.##-OK? prompt appears on the terminal or PINpad, the cardholder presses the OK.
If the TIP? AA% OTHER prompt appears on the terminal ...
If the ENTER TIP % $ prompt appears on the terminal ...
If the TIP AMOUNT AA% OTHER prompt appears on the PINpad...
3. When the cardholder returns the terminal (RETURN TO CLERK appears) or the PINpad, press OK.
4. Refer back to the "Gift Purchase" procedure.
