Processing an Advice

Follow the procedure below to complete a voice-authorized Purchase on a credit card.

To process an Advice:

1.       On the applications menu, select DEBIT & CREDIT.
The message "Activating App..." appears followed by the transactions menu.

2.       On the transactions menu, scroll down and select Advice.
If the "Password:" prompt appears, key in the manager password and press the green key.

3.       At the "Amount:" prompt, key in the transaction amount and press the green key.

        If prompted for a clerk ID ("Clerk Id:"), see Entering the Clerk ID.

4.       Follow the terminal prompts below:

a.       At the “Auth #:” prompt, key in the Voice Authorization Number that you wrote on the paper sales draft when you called Moneris Customer Care for Voice Authorization and press the green key.

·         If the "Invoice #:" prompt appears:

        Key in the invoice number.
OR

        Press the green key to bypass the prompt.

b.       At the “Account #:” prompt, key in the card number and press the green key.

c.       At the “Exp Date (MMYY):” prompt, key in the card’s expiry date and press the green key.

5.       Follow the remaining terminal prompts.
