Setting Up the Terminal Hardware

You must perform these steps to set up the terminal hardware:

1.  Connect the communication cable(s) depending on your requirements:

 - To use dial (including dial backup for Ethernet/IP) ...

 - To use IP (Ethernet) ...

Note: If you use an external PINpad with your terminal, you must connect the PINpad now.

2.  Install a paper roll if required.  

3.  Connect the power cable and power on the terminal.  

4. Continue in "Getting Started" at step 2 to finish installing the terminal.
