Powering On the iWL255 Long-Range Mobile

The handheld terminal does not have an ON/OFF switch.

To power on the terminal when the terminal is not on a powered base or otherwise connected directly to a power source via the direct-to-terminal charge cable:

a.  if the battery is charged, simply press the  key.  Or  Dock the terminal on a powered base or connect directly to a power source via the direct-to-terminal charge cable.

b.  Wait while the terminal powers on.  This may take up to several seconds.  The PLEASE WAIT message appears during this process.

Note:  When the terminal is docked on a powered base or connected directly to a power source, it (the terminal) is always on; however, it is not using battery power.
