Delete a category

Follow these steps to delete a category or subcategory.

When you delete a category or subcategory:

any subcategories below it will also be deleted;
the products assigned to it, or to the subcategories below it, will be moved up to the next available level.

In the "Category list," hold your mouse over the category or subcategory you want to delete.
At the end of the row, click the options icon.
On the list of options, click Delete.

4. At the confirmation prompt:

To cancel deletion, click No.
To delete the category, click Yes.

The Category list reappears without the deleted category. Products that were assigned to the deleted subcategory will now appear in the category one level up.
