1. Wait for the “Swipe or enter Gift card” prompt to appear on the terminal display (or on the optional external PIN pad, if equipped).
2. Swipe the card on the terminal’s (or PIN pad's) magnetic stripe reader.
There are two ways to enter a gift card on the terminal, or on the optional external PIN pad, if equipped:

You may manually key in the card number only when performing a transaction from the Moneris Gift menu.
1. From the Main menu, tap Transactions, Additional transactions, Moneris Gift.
2. Start a gift card transaction.
3. At the “Swipe or enter Gift card” prompt, key in the card number,
then press the green 
key.
