Your terminal is not working as expected.

Issue Solution
Terminal does not allow you to manually enter card numbers.

The option to manually key in the card number is not available for card present (face-to-face) transactions. If tapping, inserting, and swiping the card all fail, ask the customer for another card or other form of payment.

If you wish to perform a transaction where the customer is not present, for example, telephone order or mail order, you must enable the card not present feature under Miscellaneous Transaction settings.

Your promotional gift card has an expiry rule, but its expiry date does not get printed on the transaction receipt.

Your promotional gift card program is not configured to allow for the printing of the gift card's expiry date on transaction receipts.

To determine the card's expiry date, go to Balance Inquiry .

Your terminal is integrated with your point of sale (POS) application and is not connecting or receiving data correctly.
